This is a face shield (PPE) that implements following design considerations.
- Front plastic sheet attaches inside.
- Top cover sheet attaches outside, making "eaves".
This design prevents droplets coming from the top to enter the inside (dangerous) more effectively than traditional designs that attach the sheet outside.
Also this design doesn't print tall parts like a built-in top cover, i.e. it prints relatively fast. Plus, top cover doesn't break easily with horizontal pressure applied, i.e. assembly is easy.
- Frame print time approx. 70 min (stock Prusa MK3S, 0.3mm layer height).
- Front sheet is compatible with "Sweden" 3DVERKSTAN visor North America 6-hole version.
Models
- Frame (printed)
- Headband (printed)
- Top cover (either printed or cut)
- Front plastic sheet (cut) - compatible with "Sweden" 3DVERKSTAN visor North America 6-hole version.
Front plastic sheet and top cover can be cut from a single 12x12 plastic sheet at once. Example CriCut project has been shared in Design Space ("Face Shield CV11" project). Otherwise please refer to SVG files or drawings for dimensions.
