In order to reduce the impact on our overstretched supply chains and as well to help reduce the need to go to the store for sponges, I designed this food scraper sponge replacement. While the print works fine alone as a food scraper, using a spare washcloth in addition helps clean heavy food particles as well as sauces left on kitchenware, eg: spaghetti sauce. It's able to get into fairly tight spaces as well as clean rounded pot and pan edges using the corners of the print. Using a re-usable washcloth will also help families save money as they will not have to throw away their sponge.
I printed this on my Dremel 3d45 using the medium quality settings. The print layer was set to .2mm. After some tests this seems to be an adequate layer height for both rigidity as well as print time / filament usage.
