The idea of this print is to put it in the door and inside elevators. You fill the print with toothpicks and each time you take the elevator, you pick one, press the buttons and discard it.

People forget to use their elbow to press buttons, they just dont pay attention. If you put an item specifically desinged for this, it calls their attention and they start using it.

Of course, this does not eliminate risk of infection. You still have to was yourd hands after using it. The point is to add another layer of protection since it minimizes the contact area between your skin + buttons.

  • Model info
It consists in 2 parts. One "Hook" or "hanger" that is attached two the wall using double sidede tape and the Tooth Pick dispenser that grabs to the hook.

  • How it works?
    1) Grab one tooth pick form outside elevator and press the button
    2) Inside the elevator press your floor number button and discard the toothpick

  • Replenish
To replenish just grab the item using gloves and discard all the used toothpicks. Clean it with alcohol and put new toothpicks.

We tested it for a full day. We had to replenish the toothpicks only once. People in the building really liked the idea, so we decide to put one on every single floor.
