The Spilled Cup Quartet of Growth, or why flattening the curve is so important.

Counter-clockwise: linear growth (expanding in one dimension), quadratic growth (expanding in two dimensions), cubic growth (expanding in three dimensions), and exponential growth. Note in particular how the exponential growth starts of very slowly (smaller than cubic and quadratic in the beginning), but then really explodes.

Can be used as an educational tool to show the difference between different rates of growth. You can also see this when you print the designs -- the linear growth takes only a few minutes, quadratic a few hours, and cubic and exponential take quite long.

Print instructions

Prints without supports. The different cups are best printed individually, but you can also scale down and print everything at once.
