I was asked by a nurse friend to fill the visor gap so she can use the visors I am making and read that the prusa solution easily fell out and decided to give it a try...
This is still a work in progress but so far version 2 seems to work fairly well. The design uses a press fit into the visors and seems to stay in well although I am sure it will need some adjusting to make it perfect. I have fit it on the prusa RC2, RC3 and RC3US versions and all work well.
edit: V3 printed faster, fits better and reduces the risks of gaps. I'd suggest using V3.
I am using solidworks and based this off the prusa STL if anyone would like a copy of the original file at all. I will upload newer versions as I make them... Any ideas let me know.
I printed in PLA at .3mm layers, no support at 5% infill for testing and it's okay. I have a stock MK3S that is about 3 weeks old. I am by no means the best person to maximize speed though!
