Dice Tower and Organizer (Plinko Style)

A plinko style dice tower designed for d&d. It's open faced so you can see the action, but the dice won't fall out of the angled pegs.

During play it assembles to provide:

• the dice tower
• a tray for dice to roll into
• a platform for frequently used dice and minis
• a pencil holder
• a small storage pocket
• additional space for other dice.
  After play, it packs up into a portable little box that can store pencils, dice, and minis.

Notes:

*3/11/17 update: I reprinted organizer.stl with support (just touching the build plate, not everywhere). The depressions on the top came out a lot nicer. In Cura 2.4 I used support type "lines" and set the Z distance to 0.15.*

All STLs are oriented the way they should be printed. No supports are needed if printed this way. For the dice tower, I used a 1.2mm shell and 30% infill to make sure the pegs were tough.

The shell for the organizer and case was 0.8mm. These parts can also be printed with a lower infill. The organizer piece does involve a good amount of bridging, but it should still turn out ok. The indentations for holding dice up top came out a little rough for me, but they work fine.

Notes:

• The pegs on my first prototype were brittle. Besides beefing up the design a bit, printing a temperature tower to find what temperature gave me the best layer strength helped a lot. I used http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:915435 and then broke it to test strength.
