Filament guide for Prusa MK3/S

This filament guide is designed to mount on the injection molded Prusa MK3/S spoolholder-base, and needs short pieces of PTFE-tube to function properly. (for example the spare PTFE-tubes included for the hotend)

Why I designed this one? I wanted:

• bigger distance to the extruder, even on taller prints.
• less risk of derailing and rat nest on the filament spool, due to slack in the filament caused by extruder movements.

Print instructions

I have successfully printed the model in Prusament PETG.

Assembly instructions
Supports are included in the model, has to be removed before assembly.

Put the filament guide on the spoolholder-base as shown in the pictures. Lock it in place with the lock-plate.

Usage suggestions
To mount and unmount the PTFE tubes, push/bend slightly on the tip of the filament guide, making the slot for the tube open up a little.
