Chrome Dino
This is a slightly stylised model, inspired by the chrome dinosaur from the no internet game within chrome.
The typical version of this model and the official chrome store has the dino with straight flat sides where as in my model I added a blocky version of the thigh as I believe that this looks better and gives the model a better feel.
Despite my stylisation I still kept the model as true to the original as possible making sure it has the same silhouette as the 2D version.
I printed mine on the CR6-SE at 0.28mm layer height in an Eryone plain grey filament as I find this is quite true to life for the original image. The print took around 7 hours and I would recommend blocking support from hanging over the feet as removing the support broke the right foot and snapped the left leg. My second attempt was far easier to remove, you just need to be careful of the little hands on the arms as they are also quite fragile. I would recommend a reasonable rate of infill around 15-20 in order to make sure there is some infill in the feet and legs.
The larger models have alignment nipples for the bases but due to size constraints the smaller ones don’t. I superglued the models to the bases for my ones. As the dinosaur will not stand up by itself.
