I wanted a way to mount my GoPro to a desk lamp boom. It so happens that mine had a handy clamp that needed a round bit to clamp to, so I printed this. Now I have an infinitely adjustable boom-pod for my GoPro!
I will be using this for recording how-to videos, lapses on my printer and more. Additionally, I added a USB cable through the frame of the boom where the power cable once was so I can charge the camera during use for those extra long prints! The hardware (thumb screw and nut) are a set I took off of a standard GoPro mount. Mine happened to be a broken knockoff set, but the hardware is plenty good enough for this.
In the future I will likely be adding springs to the mount to help hold the weight of the camera, as well as mount points for a microphone and a phone mount to use as a monitor! This will be one fun project!

Notes:
I printed with no supports, using a brim. I did 10 brim outlines for 2 layers. Using this technique, there was plenty of adhesion to the glass build plate and it was successful through the whole print! It is plenty strong at 60% infill.
