A friend told me, that he wanted to light his lego city with some lanterns. Unfortunately, LEGO does not sell something like that. Therefor, I created something by myself.
Printing Tips:
I used a 0.25mm nozzle, but a 0.4mm could also be ok.
Recommended settings:
- Layer height = 0.1mm
- elephant foot compensation = 0.15mm
- brim width ≥ 5mm
- no infill
- “Fill gaps” only on the bottom and on the top, not in between
- Seam Position = Random (general recommendation for round parts)
- Higher “Lift Z” (either in printer or filament settings) if you want to print multiple parts. When I used the defaul 0.15mm, it knocked sometimes against the parts. I recommend 1mm to have a middle way between stable printing and stringing
potential supplement parts:
- lego 3062b transparent
- lego 4740 white or matching lantern color
- LED
