September 2024 update:
Tweaked the BCAS version for better fit and printability, especially with the linked metal parts. Also made a version of the clip that locks the battery and therefore the radio to the clip. This one is v5. Enjoy.
August 2024 update:
Added 2 versions with built in belt / strap clips. One is a 1 piece part and the other is a 2 piece. The 2 piece uses a tripod mount to slide the battery pack into the belt clip. It can also be used on tripods or anything else that uses an arca-swiss mount. You could also use the clip to hold other things with tripod mounts i.e. cameras. Mine fit pretty snug but I may still try to figure out a locking mechanism for the slide in version. If anyone has an idea there feel free to remix it. Also found some nice terminals on amazon that work great in the new versions.

Those would also work in the original versions but you may still need some backing to hold them in place.

This is a double remix. Or, a remix of a remix. Thanks to both previous designers for their work. They deserve most of the credit for this. The upload widgit wouldn't let me link the original or first remix so here are their thing IDs, 2799874, 3523791. I also wanted to use 18650s with my UV-5Rs. I tried Tinfoil_Haberdashery's model and it was close but as the original designer mentioned, it didn't really work. Then I tried freideh's version of it and liked the clip mods but it still had the same issues as the original in regards to actually working. It didn't make contact electrically and wouldn't click (stay attached) in to the radios etc. So I trimmed and tweaked it until it did both of those things. At least on my UV-5R radios, this version works. I used some flattened copper pipe hangers as backing for the battery clips I had from another project. Print Settings ==============

Notes:
I printed one of these in black PETG and another in green ASA. both worked great. PLA would work fine too as long as you don't drop it or leave it in the sun etc.
12/23 added a version with no text on it.
