This is my non destructive paper towel roll holder for the Ford Nugget 2006-2013 model. It needs a 6mm rod (aluminium, hollow). I will measure it next time I disassemble it but I think it is about 40-60cm long. The cheapest I could get is a 1m rod that I sawed down to the needed length by trial and error.
Yes, I know, it is a lot of material for a simple paper towel holder but I wanted it there in the middle on the kitchen block so I could reach it from the kitchen and from the dining table. And it's robust and not weak. The slots are chamfered so you don't destroy the plastic protection when changing the roll.
Unfortunatly it needs a lot of material and many hours of printing time but it does the job and won't break if you print int in PETG.

Notes:
I'm, sorry, but you will need support between the two legs. I did not find a better solution yet. Please let me know if you have a better idea. You need some flex to bend the legs without damaging the kitchen and without breaking the model, so I'd recommend to print in PETG filament.
