After upgrading my Ender 3 printer with direct drive extruder, it became difficult to use the filament runout sensor, because the wiring interfered with the print. After searching for a solution, i came over a review of the new Ender 3 S1. This one is already upgraded just like my printer and there was the filament runout sensor mounted on top of the printer. I liked that idea and i designed an articulated bracket that allow mounting the runout filament sensor on top of the printer, aligned with the filament spool and, hopefuly, not interfering with the extruder for prints up to 200mm tall (higher than that, the filament is bended in a way that can lead to breakage after the sensor). To correspond to various types of V-slot profiles, i designed 3 types of brackets that can be mounted, with two M4x10mm and two M4 T-slot nuts,in the rear or in the font of the profile, or even on top, with the arm in uprigt position. The sensor can be mounted with two M3x20mm screws and two M3 nuts

For better usage, make sure that the articulation moves freely enough so that the sensor can follow the orientation of the filament during print (some sanding might be necessary, sorry for that)
