Remix with improved range of motion. I am not sure if my particular toilet is a "Drake", which may be why there was problem with range of motion. The original part fit the handle and the mounting screw just fine, but would hit the edges of the handle such that the toilet would barely flush.
I still had the original part so I compared the one for the “Drake” toilet with my TOTO part and saw some places for improvement. The photo is of Jim's version for the Drake compared to the part for whatever TOTO toilet I have that was broken.
I added some additional material to the plastic end stop to improve strength, widened the pivot sleeve by 0.2mm to reduce the friction so that it would swing more freely back into neutral position with the weight of the fulcrum arm, and widened the inner fulcrum housing to allow it to move in an arc instead of just straight up and down.
Hope it saves someone else even more time.
Thanks to Jim Lawton for the original model which saved me a few hours and a number of prototype iterations.
