This is a bespoke case for the Combobulator, which is a custom built wireless hosting device for use with Lazer Tag Team Ops (LTTO) compatible laser tag toys from Hasbro/Tiger/Nerf, including the Nerf Phoenix LTX and the Lazer Tag AR (LTAR), not to mention the original LTTO line, the Deluxe, IRT-2X (Drone), and Tag Master Blaster (TMB). For more information on that device, please go to http://combobulator.weebly.com/

Update 7/10/2023 - ALL NEW CASE! I apologize to anyone who printed the previous version. My CAD skills were amatuer and I paid more attention to putting it together than in taking it apart, such as to change batteries! This new one uses a two piece body with an integrated hinge clamp that allows everything to print with no supports and no risky bridging. Just slice, print, and assemble. You'll need one M3x6mm (or longer) socket head cap screw for the battery box closure, as well as at least two M4x8mm or so screws to hold the Combobulator PCB in the PCB housing. Print the lid in a translucent material so that IR can go in and out easily, and enjoy!

Update 7/11/2023 - Added “solid” lid, without a port for the screen. If the screen is up against the back face of the lid, as it was designed to be, then it can be seen clearly through the translucent print. As such, this version can be used when the Combobulator is expected to be rained on or something. This does NOT make the case water tight, but should keep out some sprinkles.

BoM

  • 1 x M3 6-14 mm (not > 14 mm) socket head cap screw for the battery box closure
  • 2 or 4 x M4 6-11 mm (not > 11 mm) screws (type of head doesn't matter) to hold the Combobulator PCB in housing.
  • Combobulator with included battery box, and 4 AA batteries. :)
