A non-drifting adjuster for setting the bed leveling on FDM printers. Works on the same principle as a Nylock nut. Printable in PET, ABS or nylon (it may also work with PL, but I don't guarantee that as I haven't tried it!)
Assembly & Use:
1) Place an M3 nut on a hard surface, align the points of the thumbwheel with the points of the nut and press the thumbwheel onto the nut
2) Turn the thumbwheel over. Lightly screw an 8mm (or longer) M3 screw into the nut, then keeping downward pressure on the screw, screw it in to form an inner thread in the plastic.
3) Replace the standard (non-locking) bed adjusters on the printer re-level the bed and forget about needing to do it again for a long time!
"Tighter" vesion: I've added a version that fits tighter on the bed adjusting screws, and is more resistent to acidental adjustment by rough handling; however it needs more finger power to fit it in the first place. It may also be better if you choose to print in a softer material such as nylon or if your printer produces slightly oversize holes; it's probably not the best for PL though!
Print at any convenient layer height.
Print using nylon, PET (PET-G etc.), ABS or PL (all these work with comparatively little difference, but this is the [slight!] order of preference.)
