The outdoor temperature sensors that come with the Sharp Atomic Clocks are oddly shaped, a pain to mount, and for some inexplicable reason are black in color. This is just a simple casing with vents to allow for easy mounting of the sensor without using the funky “clip” they provide. Printing it in white also allows for better temperature readings, as it doesn't heat up in sunlight quite so readily as well as offering it a little more protection from the elements. The lid simply friction fits together into the body.
This was printed in white Overture PETG with a 0.8mm nozzle at 0.4mm layer heights. Could easily be printed at a higher resoution if desired, but probably unnecessary for something like this.
