Welcome to Morocco!
مرحبا بك في المغرب
Bienvenue a Maroc!
This model was created by MiniWorld 3D founder Dany Sánchez. Thanks to Mosaic Manufacturing for the stunning print you see in the photos, made with Pallete 2S.
The New Entrance to the Royal Palace in the city of Fès, in northern Morocco, is a jewel of Moroccan craftsmanship. Built in 1969-1971, King Hassan II reoriented the entrance of the palace complex from the Old Mechouar in the north to a new southern approach facing the modern Ville Nouvelle of Fes. The gates are lavishly decorated with elaborate zellij mosaic tilework, carved cedar wood, and doors of gilt bronze covered in geometric patterns (from Wikipedia).
See the Print Details section below for more info.
MiniWorld 3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to all the people of Fès. This model was designed from scratch in Fusion360, no scans or repurposed Sketchup models, so it's pristine clean for 3D printing! Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!

- Palette version by @mosaicmfg
Easy, straight-forward printing.
No supports needed.
Provided in 2 versions:
1. Regular, single STL for single color extruding.
2. Multicolor, split to be printed in several colors at once using an external device such as Prusa MMU or Mosaic Mfg. Palette.
Some recommendations:
- You may have to scale it up, 150 or 200%
It can be printed normal, from the ground up; or laying flat on its back. - No supports are needed (there are some overhangs but it may be worse to have supports)
- There are more "Color channels" than Mosaic Mfg. Palette can handle, so you can choose which ones to combine, for example: white / beige / wood - all 3 can be mixed with each other to reduce complexity and it would still look great.
- There's a photo attached so you can choose matching colors.
Folders included are labeled accordingly.
