Introducing the Easel - a printable stand for your Intellijel palette case (62 or 104HP).
My first “real” eurorack case was a 104HP Intellijel palette. There were a few stands available, but after just dropping $$$ on the case and some modules – I was tapped out for a while.
This lead me to design my first iteration of the intellijel stand (which I have published on thingiverse). After using it for nearly a year, I decided to update the design to make it a bit more robust and sturdy. This redesign is what I present to you today.
The Easel gives you two options on angles, either a more vertical approach, or more laid-back horizontal angle.
Print two legs, one brace, and one plated set of nuts/bolts. (nuts and bolts were generated from the amazing Nut Job project: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/94761-nut-job-nut-bolt-washer-and-threaded-rod-factory – provided here for quick access). Trim the rabbit ears from the legs after printing (those areas tended to lift for me when printing).
I printed both legs with 3 perimeters and about 15% infill. You might want to up the infill or perimeters for the cross brace if you plan on moving the stand around a lot (it'd be fine in a home studio though)
