OO Gauge Couplings (Hornby X8031 style)

Update: A configurable version of this coupling is now part of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4632898

Drop in replacement for Hornby's wide style X8031 coupling. It's slightly wider at the base due to the hook's hinge mechanism, but fits fine in old Bachmann trucks.

Printed in green while I was developing it, but should look much better in black!

Make sure to give the hook hinge mechanism a good clean out - the hook should be free to fall under gravity to ensure a clean coupling.

Updated 2nd September, improved hook geometry slightly.

Need good bed adhesion for the hook. Worth printing in black for real use!

Need to clean out the hinge mechanism to ensure the hook can fall under its own weight - otherwise they won't couple.
