Found the idea oft this buffer superb and printed it before the MMU arrived. Never used the original. I was totally thrilled how well the hexagon dividers got printed. The only problem was the mounting, because my printer stands in a shelf with the dry boxes above the printer.
The setup on the pictures is still under construction, because the PTFE tubes needs to be fixed and I'm trying FEP tubes for a better visibility of the filament colors.
The numbers are printed without the MMU with 0.4 mm (2 layers) height, let them stick on the steel sheet and printed the fslot with the numbers as negativ volume over them - works pretty well.
The mounting parts have brass inserts and each is fixed with 2 M3x8 mm to the modified buffer body.
