I had some leftover amplifier boards and speakers from a kit, so I decided to get a cheap bluetooth module from Aliexpress and make a bluetooth speaker!
Its pretty hard to find the modules used now but you could probably make this for about $30. Though, I didnt make it to save money, I made it for the experience of soldering and modelling.
The case was designed in Fusion 360 and is all custom. I think this is probably my favourite design to date.
I recommend soldering the parts together first and then inserting them. The speakers go in first, although the holes may have to drilled if they dont line up.
Then the wires can be ran up to the slid in inner plate and the amplifier boards can be screwed down (the tolerances are tight so putting the screws in at a slight angle may help).
The bluetooth module is then screwed in place and the cover is screwed on.
If you find that some screw holes dont line up well, dont worry. I made this project on a short time span and didnt have time to double check everything and get it perfect. Everything will fit though, just not perfectly! (A file and a drill will be very useful)
