I designed a simple mount for my USB-A to USB-C cable that was just awkwardly lying around on the table.
I am using cables from a brand called “Yootech” (Amazon Link) but it's just a generic cable with plenty of the same design across the internet.
You will also need:
- 2x T-Nuts, I used these uploaded by 3Dprintedgr
- 2x M3 Nuts
- 2x M3x8 bolts for screwing in the T-Nuts
- 2x M3x10 bolts for the cable
“Assambly:”
- Simply put in the cable and tighten the 2x M3x10 bolts from them bottom so it sits in tight.
- Put the M3 nuts into the designated spot in the T-nuts.
- Drop the T-Nuts in the aluminium extrusion and screw the cable mount to it.
- Plug the other end of the cable into your printer.
Have fun printing!
