This evolved out of a design I started in Onshape. I wanted a 'vase' type object of my own to print. Wanted a bit of detail. No overhangs to mess with the vase mode. And something to fill the volume of my Tronxy X3.

Full size is quite large 180mm x 202mm tall. Printed some at 33% and 0.08mm and 0.05mm layer height.

Grail_fine is designed to be printed in single wall vase mode and printed rather quickly.

Grail_cupped is solid with smooth inside.

Print Settings

Printer:

Tronxy X3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.05mm-0.24mm

Infill:

0%

Notes:

Be sure to scale to fit your printer's volume. Printed in vase mode. 3-5 base layers. No top layer. No infill.

Smaller white goblets were printed in PETG at 33% and with 0.05 or 0.08mm layer height. 0.05mm layer height took 3h4m to print.

The clearer ABScent one was printed at 33% and at 0.15mm and took 1h10m. Still want try an acetone vapor bath with this one.

Full size green PETG goblet took 4h36m ay 0.2mm layer height.

The full size prints do get some harmonic waves the taller it gets since it is suck thin walls.

Post-Printing

Considered inverting and filling in the top and have the bottom open to make drum. Could make an interesting sound.
