We have the common Ortlieb bike bags with the simplest Quicklock-System (aka QL 1). This Quicklock system is quite comfortable as one can easily attach or detach it from a bike. However, that is also the biggest security issue. Without having any kind of locking mechanism available, one can easy grab your bag.
As there is nothing officially available I thought of how I could at least prevent a quick theft by just grabing the holder and remove it from the bike.
The result is a rail which can be attached to the bags using the existing screws on the bag. It has two sliders in the center which can be put in neutral to easy remove/attach the bag. Or, once slide to the sides, it blocks this easy removal with a mechanical barrier. Additionally it can be secured with a little lock (like shown in the pictures).
Make no mistake, this is not bulletproof security, but grabbing your bags in seconds will be much harder with it.
Print: I made the print with PETG, infill with 50% to have it more stable.
