An actually secure mount for your Action 2

Don't want your new $500 camera go flying after a crash? After you wipe out on your snowboard? This will make it as bomber as you can get.

Print Settings

• Print with TPU filament, slowly
• Use tree support if your slicer supports it
• Best printed on its side (as oriented in the STL).
• Use 2 perimeter walls for most setups. 3 walls for bando bashing.
• Infill: Use 20 - 30% infill.
  • 20% gyroid infill for cinematic / long range setups. 
  • 25 - 30% cubic infill for bando bashing
  • Really don't go above 30% infill, it just adds extra weight but no strength benefit.
• PRINT THE BACK GLASS PROTECTOR.stl in PLA/PETG/etc! Something rigid! The back LCD is the most fragile part and easily broken without this part!
  • Glue into the recessed spot on the back of the mount. Use whatever glue you like, CA/suer glue, hot glue, etc.

Bracket version can be printed rigid! (PLA or ABS)

The thinner versions are flexible enough to work with rigid plastics. Use the thicker version for TPU.
