A small, launchable model rocket. Tested with 1/2A3-4T motor.
Base was printed in PLA. Used a brim. Either supports can be used, or no supports, but then
you will have to trim off a bit of the guide cylinder with a razorblade.
Nosecone was be printed in PLA in vase mode.
Body tube was printed with PLA in vase mode. Cut off the very end with a razorblade to make
a tube of uniform inner diameter. Cut the protrusions off the side of the body tube to attach the shock cord.
The parachute and shock cord was printed in TPU. It's a bit frivolous to print this, you could also use a circle cut out of a plastic bag and some pieces of string. I just wanted to see if it could be done!
Total launch weight with printed parachute is 19 grams.
FCStd (FreeCAD) files included for all models.
