¡Bienvenidos a CDMX!
As a homage to Mexico's capital city, MiniWorld 3D brings the most complete collection of its landmarks and famous buildings! This project is huge so we'll break it in parts, each containing a few buildings following a theme.
Part 4 are modern, office High Rises from different corners of the city: An Oil Company HQ, the WTC, and "the Pants" building. During the 90's, these were the tallest buildings in the city, before the construction boom of the Giants of Reforma and elsewhere.
Torre Ejecutiva PEMEX is a 214 m (702 ft) international style tower built in 1976-1982, occupied by state-owned Pemex, one of the largest petroleum companies in the world. This particular model has been updated in 2021 with more detail and support-free single printing, and added to the files.
Mexico's WTC is most known for its 207 m (670 ft) tower and revolving restaurant on the 45th floor. The tower opened in 1995 and is part of a larger complex of buildings including convention and cultural centers, shopping, parking, hotels, etc.
Lastly, Torre Arcos Bosques I, commonly known as "The Pants" due to its shape, is 161 m (528 ft) office building, occupied by important tech and industry global companies. Its sister tower, Arcos Bosques II is right next to it although it has a different shape. Its heliport is the highest in the region, at 2560 m /8400 ft / 1.6 miles above sea level.
(All from Wikipedia).
Note that all the models in the Mexico City series are in scale to each other, so you can compare their heights and sizes!
MiniWorld 3D is happy to bring these models to life and a smile to all residents of Mexico City! MiniWorld 3D is the collection of 3D printable landmarks and models of the world! All our models are made from scratch by hand and brain, please give credit to all authors.
No supports required.
For WTC, glue rotating restaurant on top, and add a piece of raw filament as antenna.
The arch building can support itself. Only use supports if printing at much larger scales, when the overhang increases.

A wonderful miniature version of the Arcos Bosques Tower, well done! My settings for this print were: 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill, 50mm/sec print speed. It took me approx. 2.5 hours to complete this print. It's made from Semi Matte Black PLA by Colorfabb :)
