Another hair comb, this one a copy of a different one my mom has. Made in tinkercad.
To get the same shape as the model combs, all stl files will print flat and need to be heat formed in hot water. See
https://www.instructables.com/id/Thermoforming-3D-Printed-PLA-for-Use-in-Prostethic/
(not mine, just a really nice set of basic instructions) for good, clear instructions on this method.
Like my other combs, this one needs post-print heat forming. However, due to the very flat design, there's less sanding necessary to make them wearable. With a really smooth print, none at all is necessary. I still like the finish I get with a resin coat or several coats of sprayed on clearcoat, but if you want to print, form and wear, that's possible with these.
The two files are for a comb with lots of teeth that prints at just under 6" wide and a wider spaced, broader toothed comb that can be made narrower if desired. The current photo model is the toothier version.
Feel free to print and remix!
