Literally a Can Sized Trash Can

Trash can to install in any can holder of any size.

Necessary materials

Apart from the printed pieces, you will only need small bags, like these for dog poops 💩. Although if you wish you can also use this trash can without bags.

Printing instructions

You need to print 1 Lid and 1 Can of the size you want, make sure all 2 parts are named with the same size.

All parts are already oriented to be able to be printed without supports.

PLA is not a suitable material for this model if you are going to use it in a car since cars reach sufficient temperatures for it to melt, I personally recommend using PETG since it is very easy to print and will more than withstand these temperatures, but you can also use other more resistant materials like ABS or ASA.

Assembly instructions

1. Just insert the bag inside the can.
2. Fold the edge of the bag over so that it wraps a little around the can.
3. Now put the lid on the can, this way the bag will be fixed in place.

Changing the bag

1. Take off the lid first.
2. Now take the bag out of the can.
3. You just have to repeat the assembly instructions to put a new bag.

I found a flaw in the design, I'm having trouble printing it, or I think it could be improved…

This is the fourth iteration of this design (and likely the last), as I’ve been using it for several years without finding any major issues. However, if you have any ideas or encounter problems with the model, let me know, and I’ll consider whether it’s worth designing a new version.
