HVAC Floor Register Hood

A air redirection hood for a floor-installed register. The register drops into the hood.

Register dimensions supported:

Above floor: 13.5" x 3.75"
Duct opening: 12" x 2.25"

Two options available… single piece for large print volumes. Two-piece for smaller volumes (e.g. MK3s).

Goals:

• Keep curtains from covering the register
• Redirect airflow under couch
• Rigid enough to withstand constant abuse from robot vacuum

Print settings:

• PLA yields a clean print (two-piece)
• 3 perimeters (0.4mm nozzle)
• 0.25mm layer (quality)
