Overview:
3D Printable Voronoi bird feeder for small birds.
There are two slightly different versions so take a look at both and see which you prefer!
Pictured is the single-walled version.
The double-wall version takes considerably longer to print but has less extreme overhangs.
The insert is for if you want to use seeds/other food that is small enough to fall through the holes. It should be printed as a separate piece.
Print Settings:
They're designed to be printable without supports. There are a lot of overhangs in both models though so you'll need good part cooling. Good retraction settings will be important too as the model is prone to stringing. Use a brim. Feel free to scale the models up or down.
A variety of nozzle sizes and layer heights will work here.
They may take a long time to slice due to the complexity of the geometry and size of the files.
Other Info:
Designed using a combination of Solidworks and Meshmixer.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
