This is a remix based on the very nice work of whoppingpochard.
It's a wedge shaped tray to hold desiccant in your filament storage containers. Once the desiccant has been used, you can put 6 of these wedges on a food dehydrator tray, dry them out for 5-8 hours, then they're as good as new.
Because of the temperatures I use in my dehydrator, PLA and PETG tend to warp. I usually print these trays in ABS, but have problems with the original lifting off the plate on one corner. In this remix, I fixed some of the stress points by putting a chamfer on the bottom edge and including some horizontal slots to reduce the pulling force as the filament cools. This has the added benefit of increasing the air flow. 😀
The models have a solid bottom. To get the “screen” look, simply set the top & bottom layers to 0. Your infill becomes the screen pattern. I find Rectilinear at 20% works well for the 1.5 mm beads
Material: ABS, but PETG works too if you keep your dryer heat down.
Top Layers: 0
Bottom Layers: 0
Infill Pattern: Rectilinear
Infill Density: 20%
