I got some cool new speakers for Christmas, but they were much bigger than I anticipated. So it was necessary to lay them on their sides. However, given their proximity to me on the desk, their elevation was less than ideal. So I designed these simple stands to correct that and I must say, they work pretty well.

These are intended for printing with TPU for improved sound isolation. I happened to have orange on hand which, while striking, I will likely re-print in black or some clear TPU.

The speakers sit on top, with their backs to the raised cleats.

Printing Hints

  • These fit fine on the Prusa Mk3S build plate, but I suspect the Mini will be too small.
  • The print file is sliced for a .8mm nozzle and TPU (Amazon TPU profile).
  • I used Hatchbox Orange TPU which printed fantastically.
