CD / DVD / Bluray Spindle

This is a parameterized spindle for storing CDs / DVDs / Blurays with a screw-on top to prevent the discs falling off.

It fits all the disc types listed above and has a small bump on the bottom so the bottom disc does not scratch on the base of the spindle.

I printed this spindle in PLA+. However, I think PLA or basically any other non-flex material will be fine as well.

Customization

I have attached the Fusion 360 design file. You can customize the spindle to your liking. The most relevant parameter, the height of the spindle pin in the middle, is favorited (see screenshot).

The STLs and 3mf files provided have a spindle height of 5cm. If you need other dimensions are unable to customize the design yourself, feel free the send me a message.

Print Settings

Material: PLA / PLA+.
Suggested infill percentage: 20%
Layer height: 0.2mm or finer (because of the thread)

Other settings do not really matter.
