These simple clips are designed for standard power cords with a cord diameter of approximately 6 - 9.5mm (and possibly larger). They are designed to be used in a situation where the loose length of a power cord is wrapped around some sort of holder, but the plug end is left dangling free - these clips temporarily fasten the plug end to the rest of the cord.
Previously, I designed different versions of these for printing in PLA (see re-mix). However, the PLA version was limited in the cord diameters which could be accommodated by a single size clip. These flex versions are more flexible (!), and can adapt to a wider range of cord diameters. However, I still found it necessary to make two different sizes in order to cover a wider range of cord diameters.
The two sizes are for base diameters of 6.0mm and 8.0mm. Note that each clip has a 3-finger side and a 2-finger side. The 3-finger side is the “permanent” clip (it always stays on the cord), while the 2-finger side holds the removable plug end of the cord.
Print in FLEX using the 3mf or gcode files provided. In general :
Print with the 2-finger end down. Note that I found it necessary to print with the cooling fan always on; otherwise, I ended up with a melted blob.
