Lock for small garden shears/pruning scissors

Replacement for a lost lock part for my cheap no-name pruning shears.

Version 2 works better than the original design.
Optionally it can be secured with a small wire (diameter: 1mm). Just cut a paperclip and push it in the small hole. See the picture.
