ArcaWall - Wall mount for Arca Swiss style plates (fits Peak Design capture V3)

In order to free up some room, i decided that i wanted to store my cameras on a wall mount, thus designing this simple Arca Swiss style one.

V2 and V2 “low tolerance”

I designed two versions of this wall mount, they both securely fit Arca Swiss style plates. The differences are:

• V2 “the allrounder”: fits Arca Swiss style plates loosely, but also accepts slightly larger plates e.g. for the Peak Design Capture V3.

• V2 "low tolerance": fits Arca Swiss style plates snuggly, but is too small for Peak Design Capture V3 plates.

Mounting:

The mount has a footprint of 120 x 54mm, the mounting holes are spaced 97,5 x 31mm apart (see diagram below). I mounted my ArcaWalls with 3 wood screws into an Ikea cupboard, that way it's plenty strong for my heaviest camera, an APS-C D5300 that weighs ~1kg with my largest lens.

I included two guide holes in case you wanted to mount your ArcaWall with 4 screws in a square pattern.
