NHL Montreal Canadiens Coasters

Coasters of the 15 retired numbers of the 18 NHL Montreal Canadiens players. The coasters only have the numbers, not the names or the dates the player was with the team.

Coasters

I only printed the numbers 3, 4, 9, 10, 16 and 33 as a gift. I haven't tested the other numbers, but they should all print the same. The designs have 4 holes of 14 mm diameter on the bottom to stick non-slip bumpers. I printed the coasters with multicolor filament made by my Mosaïc Palette 2 to have multicolor layers. I printed them face down (see picture of printer) since I experience a better finish and nice touch on the top this way.

If you want to make this print with only one extruder head and are comfortable with splicing filaments, I can send you the gcode I used and the length of each color for the filament my Palette 2 produced.

UPDATE 2023-05-18: I've included a 3MF “master file” for each coaster where the colors are aligned. I've also modified the 29-Kent Dryden coaster to improve bed adhesion.

Storage Box

I printed the storage box in two parts: the box and the CH logo. I glued them together afterwards. The box has a fitting CH logo shaped hole for easy alignment. I used again multicolor filament for the logo. For the box itself, I used the color change in PrusaSlicer, the gcode is in the given files.

The box holds between 6 to 8 coasters, depending if you like a little space in the box or you want it fully packed.
