Thank you to @FinneganFalco for the original design.

I accidentally ordered the Direct Feed V6 hotend clone instead of a Bowden version. As usual, I thought "challenge accepted!"

Using the same ideas as my extruder plate design, this adapter allows you to mount @FinneganFalco's fang and 40mm fan duct to an otherwise direct feed V6 hotend clone or the original E3D hotend.

Using the incorporated pressure fitting and nut, slide your ptfe tube up against the hotend and tighten the nut. You can now use the cheaper Direct Feed hotend without a Bowden fitting.

Enjoy and post your makes!

Fresh off the press. Print the mount with a 85 degree support to build plate only. I use 20% support density using "lines" and they pop right off.

Printing like a champ! Just make sure the PTFE tube is about .5mm below the coupler and making contact with the top of the hot end.
