THIS ENCLOSURE IS STILL WIP THEREFORE PLEASE USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK

(The Bill of materials is also not done yet, sorry.. Just know you will need alot of different M3 screws, many nuts and even more washers!)

This is a modular enclosure i created to be able to cool the einsy board while the printer is in a heated environment. Because it is near the Heatbed and it should withstand high temperatures, i recommend to print it in ASA, which should be easy since its mostly small parts.

Print “Case Corner” 2 times and all other parts 1 time. Put a nut in each of the 2 Holes in the middle of the parts and use a m3 screw in the right length to Pull the nuts from the top and bottom hole into its final position. Be Careful to not use too much force when pulling them in, the nut might turn over and loose hold!

Use 2 24V Fans or 2 12V 40x40x10 Fans in serial and connct them to one of the 24V lines that come from the PSU. Using Dust Filters on the inside of the Enclosure prevents cables from getting into the fan blades so i highlyrecommend to get some of these 40x40 dust filters.

For cooling i use this type of hose: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/aw/d/B01516KST0?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I designed this case to use with a Prusa GoPro Timelapse Trigger from “creative electronics”, therefore there are 2 versions of the Bottom Part, one closed and one that adds a button and led holes for the timelapse trigger.

There be dragons…
