A spoolholder for the Snapmaker. It has mainly 3 functions:
1) Holding the filament spool straight above the build plate. No more bends in the filament, no tension.
2) Holding the touchscreen on top. Easy access when standing in front of the device.
3) A holder for the spatula and tweezers (incl cap), the two tools I need to have with the printer at all times.
Oh, it should of course be printable on the Snapmaker :-)

V1: the first version. Spool holds! Disadvantages: 1) The touchscreen barely fits, and the holder for it broke immediately. 2) Support needed at the front right. 3) Position for tweezers and cap not optimal.

V2: Second version (sorry, no STL file). No support needed anymore, tweezers relocated a bit, hole for spool-rod slightly enlarged and touchscreen holder made more sturdy. Printed in Black PET-G with carbon fiber. Spool rod easier to be inserted. I was not really happy with the print quality. Need to experiment more with this filament. Oh, somehow the thickness of the touchscreen was calculated incorrect, because it does not fit at all :-)

V3: Third version. Now with a small wall so you can store screws and the like. I also enlarged the space for the touchscreen... :-) I printed this version in simple yellow PLA, and it works fine. For now, I declare the design for done. :-)

Update: I do not have my Snapmaker anymore. So I cannot check design changes anymore... Therefore I just added the exported STEP file from Fusion360 to the files. Be free to take it and change it as needed. Just let me know in the makes or comments if you done something with it. I like to know if my design is appreciated :-)
Oh, the design is of course free, but there is a "tip designer" button active on my personal page. Just wanted to let you know :-)

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

20%

Notes:

Print it with 4 perimeters at least, 6-8 bottom and top layers, and high infill: there is a lot of torque on the structure when a full spool is mounted...
