Doesn't the Ender 3 come with an electronics enclosure on the front left?
It does, I threw mine out when I moved motherboard and raspi to the back, using TT's rear enclosure. I could have taken it again but it has fittings and holes where I don't need them and I cannot modify it. So..

The rear enclosure is a nice case that I still enjoy to have, but I kept adding things, mosfets, relay, sensors, ESP8266, with lots of wires that need to get connected and all those things stuffed into some corner or on top of each other - I simply needed more space.

This is just an empty box, with a lid that you can push in or drag it out and a front as a separate piece so you can modify it later and won't need to print the entire box again.
It doesn't need a fan since there's nothing particularly hot in it and besides the rear enclosure is equipped with two strong fan's and the air stream goes through this box.
So the vents at the side are useful.

You 'll need 2 M3x10 (or 12) screws and nuts to fix the front at the right. The lid is thin and flexible enough that you can steer it in avoiding the screws at the extrusion. I removed the 'interior design' of the upstream version since it is just taking space and I usually print a tiny socket for all the electronics and glue those in.

In a later version I may add openings in the front for tiny voltmeters and a small OLED screen so the printer directly shows it's state.

As usual I've added the FreeCAD source so you can modify it as you like, have fun!
