At our makerspace, TheLab.ms, we have a pair of FlashForge Creator Pro 3D printers. They're affectionately named badger1 and badger2. We recently added a 12" MakerFarm Prusa i3 to our collection of 3D printers, and I said he needed to be named after a different animal--a bigger animal!

The name Harambe was suggested, but the original Harambe is no longer with us, so we decided to call the new printer harambe2. Harambe2 needed a mascot, and everyone at TheLab.ms enjoys the various pop culture Buddhas.

We knew our friend Steve Zapata had already modeled an awesome Harambe fish when his group worked on their Ludam Dara 36 game, KMF at TheLab.ms. We were hoping we could twist his arm a little and get him to fit that head onto a Buddha for us. It didn't take much convincing on our part.
