I found that all the filament holders out there seemed too complicated for what I needed. So, I designed my own.
I designed with a lattice structure so you can get away with the lowest amount of plastic but is still pretty strong. It is super simple and the rolls don't have any issues spinning on it. You can also add a little Kapton tape to the top edge to reduce the friction even further but I don't usually worry about it.
If mounted to wall, you can feed filament through either foot to prevent uncoiling and allow better feeding. It is also tapered so you can press fit some Bowden tube and guide to you Mini, MMU or other printer extruder.
You can screw to a vertical surface with a button head screw through the center of the roll spigot. Can also afix using a screw through one of the many lattice holes.
