Remix of Alien UFO Speaker Box for Polymate 3d driver

While I was really pleased with the DSK's remix, I was a little uneasy as to the way the Ship's bottom attached (it screws into place) because of the fragile wires used to create the speaker. Also, there was no access to any of the ports nor volume control on the XY-P5W board used for the project. So, I decided to make my own remix. The only file I did not remix was the Ship's body.

Here are my changes:

1. Added the Alien3D logo to the ship's cap (because after all it was his monthly project).
2. Created a holder to mount the XY-P5W board that allowed access to both of it's ports and volume switch.
3. Make a hole in the base to mount the holder for the XY-P5W board. I also made it so that the base now fits into the Ship's body without screwing it in. It just slides snuggly into place.

The cap and base were printed inverted (feet up) and no supports were needed except for the Ship's base and for that I used supports from build plate only. 

Additional hardware:

M2x6mm (x4) screws to mount the XY-P5W board to the holder

M3x12mm (x3) screws to attached the holder to the base. You can use longer if you don't have any 12mm.

That's it…..I hope you like it. It was a fun project and almost as much fun to create the remix.
