I made this set of organizer trays for a 60pc Pittsburgh Tap and Die set from Harbor Freight, whose shitty blown plastic case takes up entirely too much real estate in a drawer. This makes the entire set a tight fit into the old-style Plano 3650 box.
The raised lettering can be printed using a different color in your slicer software. In this case, I color-coded SAE as "Volcano Orange Red" and Metric as "Autobot Blue". Just set the slicer to pause the print at the beginning of the text and then change your filament.
2024.10.20 UPDATE: Plano itself does not seem to make the older blocky style of 3650 boxes anymore. The newer style with deeply rounded corners and the larger hinges sacrifices a LOT of storage space to have made those changes, and consequently my trays will not fit. Look carefully at my photos and try to find the style pictured: they used to come bundled with their tackle boxes, and there are still some of them floating around for sale if you keep looking. User pavlovdog2000 has informed me in the comments that Sunshine Fishing makes a copy of this old style of Plano 3650 boxes which can be found on Amazon.
