My wife came back from the hobby shop with a bag of wooden peg men and said "make a toy for our granddaughter" (who is 10 months old).
I've been working on some Montessori-style toys lately, so I tried to stay in that spirit and came up with this “peg box”.
The peg men I used are these: https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Wood-Crafting/Unfinished-Wood/Wood-Peg-Men/p/23066 (7/8'' diameter, 2 5/16'' height).
I printed the model on an Mk3S+ with a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.35mm layer height, 15% support cubic infill, in TTY3TD rapid changing multi-color PLA. I uploaded the 3mf file with painted-on seam, as the default (nearest seam) created too many visible artifacts.
STEP file included, to allow remixes for different sizes.
