I did this for a Velux roof window, which was hard to reach. Contrary to a simple hook this works perfectly for opening and closing the window. It might lack some printing optimization (e.g. for the holes or layer orientation) but it was a first shot and worked fine for 10 months now with daily use, until a friend just twisted it the wrong way. I reprinted the broomstick-part with a lengthwise layer orientation (see picture) to make it a bit sturdier but if you print it upright you don't even need supports.
When pushing it close, pay some attention to the angle and it should work just fine and become very easy very soon. It is a bit lose fitting to enable pushing directly against the printed part instead of just the screw, so you shouldn't worry about that too much.
