I wanted a SpaceX Dragon easy to print and without support.
Although the main body was just fine to print, the foot tho required some work to be a proper fit and the hatch had a mesh failure. You should be able to just slice and print.
Foot: The whole model is scaled 200% from the original model. I designed the foot base with 11.22mm. It is tight enough to keep the bottom in place without having to use glue :)
Easy to print, FDM friendly and no support.
Hatch: Please check the pics. The hatch appears to have a failure where a void is created making it impossible to print. Thanks to πΎπππππππππ Discord Prusa help channel, I set βXY Size Compensation to 0.1mmβ and that worked as expected.
Hatch (bed position): It is not FDM friendly and I don't have much skill to fix it.
I wanted to keep as many external details as possible, the angle you see in the pic was the best I could find. Printing it like the base facing up will destroy all the details.
Printing at that angle will hide all the imperfections keeping the outside details βcleanβ
Dragon: In one of the pics, you will notice 4 little cylinders marked with a red arrow. This model is too big to edit on TinkerCAD to get them removed.
They aren't attached to the body, I believe they belong to the old foot somehow. I just printed it as it is anyways and no harm. Just an FYI.
Printed using default 0.15mm Quality and 10% Grid infill
OBS: My first post. Please, let me know if I did something wrong.
The author remixed this model.
